As I was preparing my talk later today on the Creative Problem Solving Process and hoping to zoom in to discuss more on the phase of Opportunity Finding, the video shed some nice insights. Michael Pritchard was explaining what led him to invent his Life Saving bottle while facing the frustration of how people are resistant to taking action when faced problems that are too huge. Again, "you need to think differently to solve problems" apply! His pent up frustration on the various disaster led to break down an ill-defined and complex problem to take small, actionable steps towards his invention.
